Preparing for first consultation

Preparing for first consultation

One can book appointments with Dr. Satish via the online booking on our website or contact us through our helpline numbers. Unless it is an emergency situation, we encourage patients to seek prior appointment and arrive at the facility/hospital at least one hour before the appointment.

All patients registered with the hospital are issued registration cards with a UHID Number (Unique Hospital ID). The UHID is used for identifying the patient and their medical records to ensure continuity of care. If you are visiting Dr. Satish Orthopedics for the first time, please provide complete and accurate information at the time of registration/admission to ensure that the hospital records/bills show the correct name, and the communications are sent to the correct contact number.

For your first visit, please do bring previous your medical records (if any), diagnostic reports and other relevant materials. It is recommended to have a caregiver, preferably a close family member or relative along with the patient.

Non emergency cases

  • Every out-patient seeking treatment at the hospital must register prior to the consultation.
  • A case sheet is generated to record your history, symptoms, diagnosis and treatment being provided.
  • For every new patient a Unique Hospital ID will be generated.
  • If you have been registered previously, kindly mention your UHID, while taking another appointment.
  • Patients with prior appointment will be given a preference. Only emergency cases can be seen out of turn.

After getting to the hospital, the front office staff will assist you in the registration/admission process. Once the hospital registration procedures are complete, you will be directed to Dr. Satish for consultation.

Emergency cases

In serious emergency cases, priority will be given to treating or managing the emergency, rather than paper work like registration or other formalities in medico-legal cases.

For the emergency registration process, our staff will gather relevant patient information from the bystanders or from the belongings of the patient. Registration of emergency cases is important for proceedings and to determine the best treatment option for the patient.
